Research on Traffic Sign Detection and Recognition Method

摘要


As one of the key technologies in the field of intelligent transportation, traffic sign detection and recognition technology has played a great role in traffic safety. It is of great significance to improve road safety that the vehicle makes accurate and rapid identification for the traffic sign information of the road ahead during driving, timely provides accurate prompt information of the road ahead for the driver, and guides the driver to make reasonable driving judgment. Therefore, this paper summarizes the existing traffic sign detection and recognition methods, and analyzes the principles, steps, advantages and disadvantages of various methods, so as to provide some theoretical support for the research in the field of traffic sign detection and recognition.
