Mixed Type of Eosinophilic Gastroenteritis: A Case Report and Literature Review

摘要

Eosinophilic gastroenteritis(EGE) is an extremely rare unexplained and heterogeneous gastrointestinal disease characterized by eosinophilic infiltration of the gastrointestinal(GI) tract locally or of the peripheral blood, which can involve the whole GI tract from the esophagus to the rectum, with the stomach and small intestine being the most common sites. Its clinical manifestations lack specificity so it easily leads to misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis , with symptoms mainly related to the site, extent and degree of lesions affected.
