Ancient Chinese literati paintings are important traditional cultural resources for the integration of labor education and aesthetic education. They play quite important role in expanding the social path of contemporary labor education and aesthetic education. Taking the narrative of labor theme in ancient Chinese literati paintings as an example, this paper has summerized the narrative of labor theme in previous dynasties, such as fishing, woodcutting, farming, weaving and foot travelling. It is found that the narrative of labor theme in ancient Chinese literati paintings has experienced a diachronic evolution from the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, showing the characteristics of the integration of pursuing the beauty of noble ambition, the beauty of local nature, the beauty of daily life and the beauty of labor, which has also provided a possible path for the integration of labor and aesthetic in the new era.
