In view of 2022, the government of Hebei Province proposed to optimize the distribution of medical and health resources in the "14th Five‐Year Plan for Medical Services and Health System in Hebei Province". Improve the ability of major epidemic treatment; The goal of forming a medical and health service system with the ability to respond to public health emergencies. In this paper, taking Handan city as an example, the differences of the spatial layout of medical facilities in Handan city are analyzed by using ArcGIS network analysis, location allocation model and improved two‐step mobile search. The results showed that in public health emergencies, the travel distance of residents increased, the choice of travel modes was greatly restricted, and the accessibility of medical facilities decreased. The spatial layout of urban medical service facilities presents three characteristics: point aggregation based on urban structure, axial agglomeration based on urban roads, and circle decay based on regional center diffusion. On this basis, some suggestions on the optimization of medical facilities layout are put forward.
