摘要

Accurate measurement of underwater radiated noise is a challenging task due to the complexity of ocean environment. This article gives an overview of the measurement of ship radiated noise by introducing the main steps of measurement and analyzing the potential errors. The procedure of measurement includes data acquisition, data preprocessing and source level restoration. During the procedure of data acquisition, measurement equipment, ocean environment and ship particulars should be considered. Data preprocessing is mainly concerned about the extraction of effective data. Source level restoration under different measuring conditions is also discussed.
