Lycium Barbarum Peptide Ameliorates deHP-mediated Renal and Testicular Injury Through the SIRT3/FOXO1 Pathway

摘要

Bis (2-ethylhexyl phthalate) (DEHP) is a widely used plasticizer with renal and reproductive toxicity. Lycium barbarum glycopeptide (LbGp) is the main active component of Lycium barbarum, which can protect kidney and promote reproduction. This paper mainly discussed the mechanism of DEHP injury to liver, kidney and testis, and the mechanism of lycium barbarum to improve DEHP injury. It was found that DEHP intensified the inflammation of liver and kidney, and reduced testicular germ cells, while LbGp reduced apoptosis, alleviated inflammation, and enhanced autophagy, thus alleviating kidney and testicular damage. Meanwhile, the SIRT3/FOXO1 pathway plays an important role in deHP-mediated inflammatory response.
