The Reference Broadcast Synchronization (RBS) algorithm for wireless sensor networks adopts the communication mode of broadcast monitoring, its advantage is fewer packet exchanges. The Time‐Sync Protocol for Sensor Network (TPSN) algorithm uses two‐way communication between the central node and the child nodes to achieve time synchronization, resulting in high clock synchronization accuracy. In this paper, we propose the Clock Synchronization Node‐TPSN (CS‐TPSN) algorithm in which a time synchronization node is to take charge of the main packet exchange process. Other nodes receive the time information through broadcast monitoring. To improve the node topology, and reduce The Times of packet transmission and energy consumption. Through the optimization design within and between layers, the algorithm overhead is reduced, and the modelling and simulation analysis based on OPNET are realized. Finally, through CC2530 development board verified the feasibility.
