Discussion on the Application and Thinking of Poetic Thinking in Painting

摘要

Poetic thinking is a kind of thinking that uses imagination to transfer subjective emotions to objective things, so that objective things become the carrier of subjective emotions, thereby creating a subjective state integrate mind and matter. Poetic thinking is similar to instinct; the only difference is that instinct is a purposeful impulse when carrying out a highly complex action, while poetic thinking is an understanding guided by rational thinking. In the post‐epidemic era, we can say that painting is the language of gods; painting is aesthetic, satisfying, and admirable, under the suspension of poetic thinking, let our painting escape the ordinary. We deeply realized that we are not standing on the shoulders of giants via introspection, but being pressed on feet by giants.
