Research on College English Teaching Modes under the Background of Modern Science and Technology

摘要

Nowadays, the society has higher requirements for the cultivation of English talents in universities; hence, it is so urgent to reform college English teaching mode under such background. At present, there are two issues in college English teaching: the loose relationship between learning and application, and the backward English teaching mode. Under the background of the development of modern science and technology, and in order to further improve college English teaching, there is a need to combine the modern teaching means, optimize the English teaching mode in colleges, change the idea of teaching, and improve levels of applications for teachers about the modern science and technology.
