摘要

EDA環境建置是IC設計領域中非常重要的一環，國內大學教育對這個部份所投注的資源比較少，本課程需要Unix/Linux作業系統、VLSI分析與模擬、VLSI設計實務等課程的基礎來進行教學，是一個兼具軟體安裝／管理以及硬體電路設計知識的進階課程。本論文將從課程規劃、業界人力需求、教學理念、教學方法等面向進行說明，將這些年的教學心得作一完整的介紹。

EDA environment construction is a very crucial in IC design. However, the resource regarding this area in Taiwan is very few. The course requires the basics of Unix/Linux operation system, VLSI analysis and simulation, and VLSI design implementation to learn. It is an advanced course consists of software installation/management and hardware circuit design knowledge. This paper will cover the aspects of course planning, the human requirement of the industries, teaching philosophy, and teaching techniques.
