文化資產培力理念之探討－以八德中正堂歷史建築修復再利用為例

摘要

本文主要探討位於城鄉住宅社區中歷史建築修復再利用所面臨的困境與挑戰，不論地方人士提出保存、國產局土地標售或是地方政府維管上，顯示了各方對於歷史建築保存價值與意義認知上的差異。據此，本文藉由個案研究中，考察文資培力實踐過程對於保存價值與意義認知上產生甚麼作用，再思歷史建築保存的社會意義，進而有助於歷史建築保存活化的實踐。研究方法主要以口述訪談及參與觀察方法為主，輔以文獻回顧與文本分析，並以文化社會學觀點探討文化空間再生產過程中文資培力的實踐對於文化社會的影響與如何發揮作用。從第一階段開啟公共領域的參與；到第二階段社會面向開展的發酵以至第三階段自我培力的反思，可以發現參與、發酵與反思三個向度實踐的相互牽動與作用。最後根據文資培力個案研究結果，再思歷史建築保存的社會意義，嘗試就場所記憶留存、公共性與保存修復認知三方面探討歷史建築修復再利用設計的本質，進而開展修復設計方法上的一種視角。對於文資培力行動作為一動態觸媒關係再生產的前導，讓行動介入公共空間，而藉由集體經驗的再生產，讓設計的介入本質轉化為一種中介狀態的認識，再度拉起人、空間與社區的臍帶關係，成為老中青三代重新相遇的場所。

This paper explores the problems and challenges faced when restoring historical buildings in urban and rural areas; whether it is preservation proposed by local residents, the National Property Administration's bid and sale, or the local government's management, all sides have differences in understanding of a historical building's value and definition. Therefore, this paper utilizes a case study to study the process and its effect on cultural empowerment. The primary research methods are interviews and observation through participation, supplemented by document review and analysis through the perspective of cultural sociology to explore the effect of cultural empowerment on cultural society and how it is utilized during the restoration of historical spaces. Finally after concluding on the results of cultural empowerment in the case study, the paper reflects on the social meaning of preserving historical buildings and attempts to explore the essence of cultural building restoration. It uses the three facets of memory preservation, the public, and understanding of preservation and restoration to form a new perspective on restoration design methods.
