陳黎圖像詩符號美學探析

摘要

符號學聚焦於符號與意義的分析。當代符號學的主題已發展到各個領域的運用，包括媒體、文學與藝術。圖像詩是圖文兼具的文本，其文本由多種符號共構而成。應用符號學理論，可探索圖像詩文本符號的意義與佈局，以及因而產生的美學。陳黎是台灣傑出詩人作家，本文鎖定其圖像詩作品為主要研究範圍，以符號學的視角進行文本分析，旨在藉其詩作探析台灣圖像詩的符號美學。本研究發現：陳黎的圖像詩不但呈現漢字獨特的符號美學，更藉由多元符號的設計與佈局，巧妙的圖文融合形式，創造音樂性以及豐富的意象，傳達詩意。其詩作豐富的符號美學，正可突顯台灣多元文化社會所蘊含的文化與文學特質。陳黎的圖像詩膾炙人口，在詩的語言和創作形式上，靈活又富彈性。在其圖像詩作中，他把對生命的關照以及對土地與人民的情感，幻化成詩的文本符號，引領讀者窺探詩世界的堂奥。期望此研究結果裨益圖像詩的教學與賞析，並提供學術研究的參考。

Semiotics, which is concerned with the analysis of signs and symbols and their meaning, can be applied to many fields, including media studies, literature and art. Appreciating visual poetry with image signs and in verbal text involves both semiotics and aesthetics. The application of semiotic analysis can penetrate the meaning and layout of the symbolic images in visual art. Li Chen is an outstanding poet and writer in Taiwanese literature. Using semiotic perspectives, this study analyzes the aesthetics of Li Chen's visual poems. In his works, we find the specific word aesthetics of Chinese characters, the musicality and rich images conveying his poetic ideas with the graphics and layout of multiple symbols and the configuration of the signs in the textual construction. His vivid visual poems are rich in symbolic aesthetics, which can highlight the cultural and literary qualities inherent in Taiwan's multicultural society. The study shows that Li Chen has completed many creative and flexible visual poems that represent the aesthetics of contemporary poetry in Taiwan and express his love for the people and life experience on the island. It is expected that the findings of this study will contribute significantly to the study and teaching of poetry.
