OBJECT Eye movement tracking technology was used to explore the subjects' preferences for startup icons of game apps with different colors (warm colors and cold colors), different styles (skeuomorphic style and flat style) and different forms (similes, metaphors), so as to obtain a better icon design scheme. METHODS College students were selected as subjects, APP icons of smartphone games were used as materials, and Tobii TX300 eye tracker was adopted to record the processing process of APP icons with different characteristics of subjects. CONCLUSION The characteristics of icons affect consumers' gaze, and consumers pay more attention to icons with warm colors, flat styles and smile forms.
