Research and Practice of College English Teaching Innovation from the Perspective of Intercultural Communication

摘要


Nowadays, with the increasing development of the global economy and the increasing frequency of China's diplomatic business, the government departments have attached great importance to cultural exchanges between different countries. As a new age group, in the process of learning English, college students need not only to learn how to use language to communicate, but also to understand the culture behind the language. The traditional teaching mode can no longer meet the current theoretical needs of college students. Therefore, this paper makes an analysis of the current teaching mode of English in Chinese universities from the cross-cultural perspective. It is found that there are many problems in the current English teaching mode in most colleges and universities, such as the solidification of the teaching mode and the inadequate explanations of western culture by teachers in the process of English teaching. As a base for training future social talents, universities should attach importance to the cultivation and application of intercultural communication in the process of English teaching, and innovate a modern English teaching model.
