The friendly contacts between China and India have a long historical standing, and the development of a strategic partnership of cooperation between two countries serves the bilateral benefit: it is conducive to global policy and security cooperation, leading global economic recovery, and establishing a multi-polar world strength pattern. However, many issues left over from history and the ongoing changes in the geopolitical pattern of Asia-Pacific have hindered the development of further strategic and cooperation partnership between the two countries. In the face of difficulties, the China-India strategic and cooperative partnership can be deepened through several aspects, including the use of humanities to eliminate hostility, enhancement of political mutual trust, and establishment of free trade zones.
