Based on the data of three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta from 2015 to 2020, 11 indicators were selected from four dimensions of public education, medical care, infrastructure and social insurance to establish an evaluation index system for the equalization of basic public services. The entropy method is used to give weights to each evaluation index, to evaluate the comprehensive development level and evolution trend of basic public services in each province and city, and to use the coefficient of variation to measure the difference level of each dimension in the Yangtze River Delta region, so as to obtain the equalization of basic public services in each dimension.
