尼羅草收穫後調製之研究

尼羅草（Acroceras macrum）台畜草一號係新近推廣栽培的牧草新品種，商品名稱為常青草。本試驗的目的乃在探討尼羅草乾草及青貯料調製利用的方式。尼羅草青割後以圓型打包及太空包進行青貯料及半乾青貯料調製，結果顯示，青貯一個月後兩種打包法青貯料之pH分別為4.01及4.12，評分點分別為71及67分。但儲存六個月後圓型打包法之pH保持在4.04，評分點依然達到68分，而太空包法之pH則提高至4.58，評分點降為47分，品質明顯變劣，利用圓型打包之青貯料較太空包法更耐久存。尼羅草青割後萎凋調製半乾青貯料，其pH較調製青貯料為高，評分點較低，圓型打包及太空包法分別為63及55分，但其品質至六個月依然保持良好。尼羅草細切5公分以下，以香腸式青貯法進行青貯調製，不論以大型或小型香腸式填充機進行填充，均能得到品質良好之青貯料。尼羅草調製乾草時，遺落田間的乾草量低於0.5%，乾草色澤亮麗，粗蛋白質、酸洗及中洗纖維分別為7.87、39.5及69.6%，品質比一般盤固草佳。

Nilegrass (Acroceras macrun) is a new forage cultivar recommended for farmers to grow for producing forage. The objectives of this study were to determine the methods of hay and silage making and utilization of nilegrass. Nilegrass silage and haylage were made with round bales covered with plastic membrane and plastic bag, respectively. The silage quality was determined one month after ensiling. The pH values of silage were 4.01 and 4.12, and Flieg's point were 71 and 67 in round-baled silages covered with plastic membrane and plastic bag, respectively. No significant difference was observed in the quality of nilegrass silages between those covered with plastic membrane and those plastic bag. The round-baled silage covered with plastic membrane kept good quality with pH 4.04 and Flieg's point 68, while that covered with plastic bag had pH 4.58 and Flieg's point 47 six months after ensiling. The nilegrasss haylage had lower forage quality with higher pH value and lower Flieg's point as compared to those of silage. However, the haylage quality of nilegrass kept good until 6 months after ensiling. The silage of nilegrass which was chopped down at less than 5 cm and put into large and small sausage silos was in good quality. The percent of dry matter loss was less than 0.5% in the field during hay making of nilegrass. The nilegrass hay had bright color and good forage quality with high content of crude protein and low contents of acid and neutral detergent fibers.
