Principal leadership is a key to an effective school. This article aims to explore the relevant concept, research, and implications of resilient leadership in principals. First, the authors elaborate the concept of the principal resilient leadership, followed by analyzing the empirical research of principal resilient leadership. Finally, the authors provide some implications for implementation and future research of principal resilient leadership in Taiwan: (1) Making good use of the principal's preparation and development to enhance the knowledge and skills of resilient leadership; (2) Building principal professional communities to cognize resilient leadership practices; (3) Developing resilience improvement strategies to provide principals for professional practices; (4) Demonstrating the flexibility to reduce resilient leadership dilemmas; (5) Adopting appropriate research methods to explore the benefits of resilient leadership.
