本研究旨在探討臺灣苗栗縣竹南鎮后厝龍鳳宮之一百二十支藥籤,其中前二十支有九支均聚焦於山藥(Dioscorea spp.,亦稱為淮山),可見山藥在民間寺廟之藥籤中深受重視。因此激發進行寺廟藥籤中之山藥抗炎及其功效研究。本研究採自中國廣西省梧州市之山藥,觀察不同濃度(1.25%、2.5%、5.0%、10.0%)與不同粒徑(≦250 微米與≦75 微米)之一氧化氮(nitric oxide, NO),進行抗炎抑制效果分析。結果顯示,≦250 微米及≦75 微米粒徑的山藥粉溶液,在10.0% 濃度下,可顯著抑制 NO 的產生,具抗炎作用。總結如下:(一)≦250 微米粒徑的山藥粉溶液在 10 % 測試濃度下,可顯著抑制 32.5%(平均值67.5%,標準差 5.6%)。(二)≦75 微米粒徑的山藥粉溶液在 10 % 測試濃度下,可顯著抑制 30.7%(平均值 69.3%,標準差 7.0%)。(三)結果表明在研磨製程的成本支出,使用較粗粒徑,亦可達到相同抗炎之效力。謹以此研究結論提供健康維護參考,但應用在臨床治療上還必須有更多醫學研究。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the 120 medicinal swabs from the Dragon and Phoenix Palace in Houcuo, Zhunan Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan. Nine of the first 20 swabs focus on Dioscorea Spp. It is highly valued in the medicinal swabs of folk temples. Therefore, research on anti-inflammation and efficacy of Dioscorea Spp. in temple swabs was motivated. Those Dioscorea spp. were collected from Wuzhou City, Guangxi Province, China. and observed nitric oxide(NO), to analyze the anti-inflammatory inhibitory effect, observe one of nitric oxide(NO)with different concentrations(1.25%, 2.5%, 5.0%, 10.0%)and different particle sizes(≦250 microns and ≦75 microns). The results showed that the Dioscorea spp. powder solution with a particle size of 250 microns and 75 microns, at a concentration of 10.0%, could significantly inhibit the production of NO and have anti-inflammatory effects. The details are as follows:(1)The powder solution with a particle size of ≦250 microns can significantly inhibit 32.5% (average value 67.5%, standard deviation 5.6%)at 10% test concentration.(2)The powder solution with a particle size of ≦75 microns can significantly inhibit 30.7% (average value 69.3%, standard deviation 7.0%)at 10% test concentration.(3) The results show that at the expense of the milling process, the same anti-inflammatory effect can be achieved by using a coarser particle size. It is hoped that the conclusions of this study can provide references for self-health maintenance of folk people, and more medical research is needed for clinical treatment.
