由於泥砂的淤積會減少水庫容量,降低水庫功能,更使得水庫之壽命減少。因此水庫中之泥砂問題不得不加以重視,探討泥砂在庫底之分佈、移動情形,以便研擬對策。本文之目的在分析德基水庫泥砂淤積之情形,由上游水文站之沉滓入流資料及洪水歷線,以數學模式來探討河流的輸砂能力,並進而推求水庫泥砂之淤積變化情形。本研究以HEC-6模式作初步模擬,已有初步之成果,但模式仍須改進,尤其是砂之輸送現象,方更能適應實際之流況。
Sediment deposition in a reservoir will diminish the available reservoir capacity, reduce the function, and shorten the life expectancy. Therefore, the study of sediment distribution and prevention of silting become more and more important nowadays. The distribution of the sediment deposition in the Te-Chi Reservoir will be investigated in this paper. A mathematical model to simulate the sediment and water transport processes will be adopted. By inputing the sediment inflows and flood hydrographs, calculating the sediment transport capacity, the deposition distribution of the reservoir can be obtained. Preliminary study shows that the HEC-6 model is only partially successful in simulating the sediment deposition for the Te-Chi Reservoir. The transport of the sand was found to give unreasonable results. It is suggested that care must be taken to use HEC-6 to simulate the other similar reservoirs in Taiwan unless the HEC-6 model is modified to fit the real situation, especially to calibrate with the observed data.
