The article aims to propose the practical experience of epidemic prevention in the dental department at a designated hospital and provide a reference for what the dental hospital has done. Taking the dental department in the Taipei City Hospital as an example, to share the epidemic prevention norms and reforms implemented by the dental department before and after the epidemic alert level 3, as well as the restrictions encountered during implementation. As a dentistry department under a designated hospital, dentists take turns supporting the first-line screening stations. There is a screening station outside the hospital, and many confirmed patients are admitted to the hospital. Fortunately, the department's epidemic prevention policy was strictly followed by all medical personnel, and no confirmed case was reported in our department. It is inevitable and necessary for dental clinics to propose a new epidemic prevention policy in response to this pandemic. This article shares our epidemic prevention experience in response to the pandemic. It works with dental clinics at all levels to fight the epidemic whilst maintaining the hospital's operation and providing medical services as much as possible.
