巴里文打新兴港（口篮）啅公灵签与务边古庙观音灵签之格式和意象修辞比较研究

摘要

本研究以霹雳州巴里文打新兴港（口篮）啅公灵签与务边古庙观音灵签为比较研究对象，透过比对两套签诗的格式与内容，来探讨签诗内容中所反映的庶民生活诉求。观音灵签和（口篮）啅公灵签皆早期移民从原乡携带而来的。本文透过比较来发现签诗的异同，以及它们所折射的人民基本生活的各个面向。

This is a comparative study of the divination stick which is found in Parit Buntar Datok Kong Temple and Gopeng Guan Yin Temple, both in Perak. By comparing the format and content of the two sets of Divination Stick, the paper intends to explore the demands of common people in their daily lives. The divination sticks of Guan Yin Temple and Datok Kong Temple were brought in by the immigrants from China. This research will probe into the similarities and differentials of these two sets of divination sticks. This paper argues that the emergence of the divination stick of Parit Buntar Datok Kong temple reflected various aspects of the people's basic life.
