自造者觀點之石膏材質設計創作

石膏在過去廣泛應用於藝術創作間的階段性轉換材料，眾人對於石膏的印象仍普遍停留在石膏像，或是石膏線板的裝飾性家具。石膏之所以被廣泛利用，其中因為石膏的優點包含重量輕、強度較高、加工方便，這三項的優點對於成品有很大的加分效果，也因此灌製模型時，石膏是常常被用來使用的材料之一。但近期因為塑膠、泡棉以及纖維木等替代性材料的普及也能造就該形狀，而其應用範圍漸漸被取代。本研究擬分析其材料性，並將石膏帶入自造者的觀點，以石膏材料作為作品創作之出發點，透過材料的組合進行設計與創作，讓石膏有更多不同商品呈現的樣貌，藉石膏產生多樣的變化和用途是本研究的重要目標，因所需的門檻難易度較低，在家中或是簡單的環境即可完成。本研究除翻模製作外，進一步示範石膏材料結合自造者的3D列印之搭配，適用於設計初學者自行規劃手作練習，並增加立體感的學習體驗程序。
