本研究目的為建立一自航船模實驗系統,使船模於拖曳水槽中依靠自身之螺槳與舵自航,在靜水中與規則波中船模均能維持在平擺角正負1度的範為內直線航行,可確實模擬實船航行之運動性能。本實驗使用台灣國際造船公司開發之RD542_0s球形船艏與RD572_0s箭形船艏貨櫃輪船模,分別在靜水與規則波中進行自航模型實驗,取得船模之船速、舵角、螺槳轉速、螺槳推力、螺槳扭矩、縱向浮心位置(LCB)之三軸向加速度、艏垂標(F.P)之三軸向加速度、俯仰角、橫搖角及平擺角等參數,以評估球艏船型與箭艏船型的浪中運動性能,本研究並比較自航實驗結果與拘束實驗結果的一致性。 由靜水中自航實驗結果顯示箭艏船型之推進效率優於球艏船型;在規則波中自航實驗結果發現箭艏船型與球艏船型之速度降約為靜水船速的14%,箭艏船型的速度降略小於球型船艏之速度降,在設計吃水8.5米時箭艏的縱性俯仰振幅反應運算子及在艏垂標與船舯的加速度比球艏船型大,在吃水7.5米時則相反,顯示球艏出水對縱向運動性能影響大;和拘束實驗相比在規則波中箭艏船型的阻力增加量小於球型艏的阻力增加量,與速度降的趨勢一致。
A free running model test system is set up to realize that the motion of the ship model in towing tank is similar to the motion of the full scale ship. Two ship models , which are the CSBC RD542_0s with bulb bow and CSBC RD572_0s with arrow bow , are used to conduct the free running model test in calm sea and regular wave conditions. The evaluation of the motion performance of bulb bow and arrow bow is conducted by the measured parameters including the speed of the ship model, angle of rudder, RPM of the propeller, thrust and torque of the propeller, the three dimensional accelerations at the location of LCB and FP of the model, the pitching angle, the rolling angle and yawing of the ship model. The test results of free running mode are also compared with the test results of captive model test. The test results of the free running model in calm sea show that the propulsion efficiency of the arrow bow is better than that of the bulb bow in model self propulsion condition. The test results of the free running model in regular waves show that the velocity reduction of the arrow bow and bulb bow is about 14% of the velocity in calm sea, and the velocity reduction of the arrow bow is smaller than that of the bulb bow in model self propulsion condition. The test results of captive model tests show that the increase of resistance in regular wave of arrow bow is smaller than that of the bulb bow. The trends of the reduction of the velocity in wave of the two models in free running model test agree with the trends of the increase of the resistance of the two models in captive model test.
