The electrophoresis of a soft sphere in a charged spherical cavity is modeled under weak applied electric field(<25kV/m). In this study where superposition method is applied we investigate several factors that influence the electrophoretic mobility of a soft particle, including the fixed charge density of the membrane, the thickness of the membrane, the drag coefficient of the membrane, and the relative size of the cavity. Simulation results show that there is obvious double layer polarization effect appearing in such cases as membrane with high fixed charge density or that with large thickness. The boundary effect surely provides great influence to the sphere, and the particle behavior is unexpected in various drag coefficients conditions.
