純鈦及Ti-6Al-4V鈦合金於輥軋製程特性分析

摘要


鈦金屬於五十年前開始正式生產,剛開始時,由於材質特殊,被稱為夢幻金屬(DREAM METAL),這主要是因為鈦合金具有質輕、高強度以及良好之耐蝕性等特性,因而被廣泛的應用於航太、造船、3C等工業用途上。近來許多研究發現,鈦合金在人體具有良好之親和性(不和人體發生反應),後續的發展更被廣泛的應用於生醫材料領域中。 本研究主要是針對純鈦Grade2(簡稱ET2)以及Ti-6Al-4V(一般簡稱64鈦或ET5),從實際生產線投產經驗,去發現並找出鈦合金之鍛造、輥軋等製程特性。同時結合six sigma(6σ)之改善分析手法,利用Minitab 統計分析軟體,並經由實際的實驗規劃,去解決鈦合金於實際軋延時之表面品、金相組織以及產率不佳等問題。 藉由本論文,希望在後續鈦合金的研發工作上,為台灣在特殊合金產業開發的舞台上盡一番心力,為國內鈦合金後加工製造廠商提供一條屬於MIT(Made in Taiwan)的鈦合金素材產業道路。

The production of The Titanium metal has begun 50 years ago. At the beginning, it was known as “dream metal” because of its special material properties. Since the Titanium alloy has some excellent properties such as lightweight, high strength and good corrosion resistant characteristic, it is widely applied in aerospace industry, shipbuilding industry, 3C industry, etc.. Many recent researches have shown that the Titanium alloy is affine to the human body, so it finds extensive applications in the area of the biomaterials. The purpose of this paper is to deal with the pure Titanium Grade2 and Ti-6Al-4V. Based on the experiences in the production lines, we try to find out the manufacture characteristics of the Titanium alloy in the processes of forging and rolling-mill. In the same time, with the aid of the six sigma method for quality improvement, we use “Minitab” statistical analysis software in combination with plans for experiment to solve the problems such as defect of surface quality, flaws in metallographic properties and bad production rate. With this paper, we hope the research and development concerning the Titanium alloy will make some contribution to the special alloy industry in Taiwan. Further, we hope that the Titanium industry in Taiwan can even come to fame in the world in the future.
