研究目的:本研究探討四周的北蟲草增補,藉以提升女子羽球運動員的免疫力、有氧能力及無氧動力能力。研究方法:本研究為雙盲設計,8位臺灣大學女子羽球隊隊員隨機分成兩組,一組食用北蟲草膠囊,另一組則食用澱粉安慰劑。受試者經過四周的增補(2g/天),於增補開始前及結束後一周內,進行身體組成檢測、無氧動力測驗及最大攝氧量測試,並於運動測驗前及測驗後進行唾液收集,測量唾液中免疫球蛋白A濃度。結果:在增補介入前,介入組(北蟲草,n=3)和控制組(安慰劑,n=5)兩組間的體重、BMI及體脂肪比率沒有顯著差異(p>.05),在進行四周的增補介入後,兩組間體重、BMI及體脂肪也無顯著差異(p>.05)。無氧能力及免疫能力也沒有顯著差異(p>.05)。在有氧能力方面,經過四周北蟲草增補後,介入組的預估最大攝氧量有明顯增加(p=.035),介入組最大攝氧量從35.97±2.41 (ml/min/kg)增加到38.07±2.93(ml/min/kg)。結論:本研究發現四周北蟲草增補可以提升女子羽球選手的有氧能力,但是否能提升女子羽球選手的無氧能力及免疫能力仍有待觀察。
Purpose: This study was to examine the effects of 4-week cordyceps militaris supplementation on oral immune system (saliva immunoglobulin A, IgA), aerobic capacity and anaerobic power. Method: Eight university women’s badminton players voluntarily participated in this study. A double-blind design in randomized controlled trial was used to minimize biases. Participants were assigned into supplementation group (CM) or placebo group (PL). Each participant’s body composition, aerobic capacity and anaerobic power were assessed before and after the intervention. Saliva sample of each participant were collected before-and-after each visit exercise tests. Result: There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups with respect to body mass (BM), BM Index (BMI), body composition, anaerobic power and IgA(P>.05). However, a 4-weeks supplementation of cordyceps militaris improved maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) in the CM group between pre- and post-test (pre- VO2max test=35.97±2.41 ml/min/kg, post- VO2max test=38.07±2.93 ml/min/kg, p=.035). On the other hand, there was no significant different in PL group. Conclusion: The result of this study indicated that a 4-weeks supplementation of cordyceps militaris improve the aerobic capacity in women badminton athletes. However, a 4-weeks supplementation of cordyceps militaris did not enhance anaerobic performance and oral immune function.
