從DICOM X-Ray醫學影像製作SCORM教材

摘要


醫療影像交換標準DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)是數位醫學影像在傳送、顯示與儲存的國際標準協定,使用這標準可有效地傳輸數位影像,以建立互通的醫療資訊環境,降低醫療服務成本。而醫學教育的特性在於結合基礎與臨床學科的知識[1],而一份好的臨床案例可提供醫學院學生臨床知識的演練,或是基礎學科的學習。若能利用既有的醫療案例,轉換成臨床案例的醫學教材,便可幫助醫學院學生在課業上的學習,或是醫師及其他醫療從業人員在專業上的研究。 隨著資訊科學的進步及網路的發達,數位學習開始受到重視,而現階段數位學習發展的方向,可分成兩個方向:一個是學習管理平台的建置,管理平台必須完善的設計,以提供學習者良好的學習環境及教材的有效管理;另一個是可重複使用教材的開發,一份好的教材如果可以有效的重複利用,便可降低在開發教材時所投入大量的資源及時間。而為了達到上述的目的,國際上眾多的組織針對數位學習訂定相關標準規範,本研究選用已廣泛使用的數位教材標準SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model)作為教材的開發依據。本研究主要目的在利用既有的醫學影像,轉換成可臨床案例的醫學教材。由DICOM影像檔案轉換成符合SCORM標準的教材檔案,提供教學者尋找及編輯適合課程的教材。本研究討論教學者如何從臨床案例轉換成一份醫學教材之轉換流程,以DICOM X-Ray影像為教材來源,本研究提供一轉換工具將其轉換成SCORM標準的醫學教材,使這教材可以使用在所有符合SCORM標準的教學平台上。

Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) is a standard for digital medical images exchanging, is a protocol for medical images in transmission, display and storage. In medical education, the basic and clinical knowledge are both important [1]. A complete clinical case can provide the clinical training of basic learning for students. If the existing case can be transformed into a standard clinical document, it can help students to acquire clinical knowledge and help doctors or specialists to adhere to professional knowledge. Depending on the advancement of Information science and the development of network, e-learning is now very popular. Now there are two main directions of development: one is the construction of Learning Management System (LMS); and the other is the development of reusable course. In order to providing learner with a good learning environment and effective managing course with effect, LMS has to be designed perfectly. The cost and time in developing course could be reduced if we can reuse the good course with effect. In this pager, the most popular e-learning standard, SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model), is used as the base of course developing. The purpose of this study is the transforming of clinical case form medical image into e-learning course. This study transforms the DICOM medical image file into SCORM standard file in order to provide suitable course for teachers. This study discusses the flow path of transformation case. In this study, DICOM X-ray image is used as an example and this study support a tool transformed it into SCORM course in medicine. It make the course can be use across any learning platform comfort to SCORM.
