Two novel series of 2,4,6-trifluorene-1,3,5triazine-cored star-shape molecules are synthesized. The first series (TAM1~TAM4) are constructed by introducing diaryl amines as the terminal groups, resulting in a new and intriguing donor-acceptor type chromophore. Studies on the spectroelectrochemistry of these D-A type materials exhibit significant. Different aryl groups are introduced as terminal groups of the second series (TA1~TA4) for preparing new emissive materials for optoelectronic applications. We investigate the synthesis, photophysical, electrochemical properties, thermal and morphological stability of these compounds. The introduction of electronegative triazine core is beneficial for electron injection, which leads to develop new electron-transporting
