The combination of immense information, limited budget and a boundless cyber world has made people in the new century confront an unprecedentedly rapid development in technology. No individual library in this situation is able to fulfill goals of compiling enough collection and providing complete services alone. Inevitably, interlibrary cooperation based on information infrastructure and resources sharing become a closest solution. This research adopted methods of literatures analysis, questionnaire survey and interviews. The questionnaire, targeted on the 17 various veteran hospitals in Taiwan, was designed to collect data of the VHNet (Cooperative Network of Digital Veteran Hospitals Medical Resources) so that its current status, problems, difficulties and users’ satisfaction could be analyzed, diagnosed and thus comments and suggestions could be provided. This research concluded that VHNet, under the administrative supervision of VACS (The Veterans Affairs Commission of the Executive Yuan of the ROC) and well-schemed planning of Taipei Veterans General Hospital, had not only achieved its goal of resources sharing, but also had set a model of professional interlibrary cooperation.
