Image Measurement of the Optical System in Neutrino Telescope

摘要


微中子望遠鏡是用於偵測濤子微中子,由光學系統與電子讀出系統構成,光學系統包含透鏡與凹面鏡,我們借助平行光去量測 面鏡的成像大小。因此,我們設計名為線性導軌的機器,它能在空間中控制雷射光源的位置,以便於模擬平行光。 當線性導軌平移雷射光源,有一些因素使得光源無法保持相同的指向。所以,我們增加監控裝置以便於觀測這種微小的方向偏差, 然後修正雷射光源的座標。此外,也展示使用攝像機進行雷射光點位置的讀取。

Neutrino telescope (NuTel) is used to detect tau neutrino. It is composed of optics system and electronics readout system. The optics system is composed of a lens and a concave mirror. We need parallel light to measure image size through mirror. Therefore, we design a machine which is named as Linear Guide. It can control the position of a laser source to simulate parallel light. When Linear Guide move the laser source, the direction of laser beam can not keep the same resulted from some factors. So, we add a monitor device to observe the tiny orientation bias, and then calibrate the coordinate of laser source. Besides, we use camera to readout the spot position.
