地景特質評估在高中地理教學之應用---以基隆市和平島公園為例

Applying Landscape Character Assessment to Senior High School's Geography Teaching Program – A Case Study of Keelung Ho-ping Island Park

摘要


行政院農委會自1985年推動地景保育以來,已漸有所成,但仍需持續推廣。基隆市和平島公園擁有絕佳的海崖、海蝕平台、豆腐岩、蕈狀岩等地景,但目前管理單位為地方層級,未受到妥善的保護。本研究基於地景保育的推廣,結合普通高級中學地理科課程綱要,所達之研究目的為調查基隆市和平島公園的地景資源,並針對地景特質進行評估及設計教案。本研究採用英格蘭地景特質評估方法來進行研究區的田野調查、分區、描述及建立地景特質評估系統評估。評估的結果為地景美質為中等美質景觀、地景主體脆弱性高,具有進行地景保育工作的迫切性;地景視覺脆弱性評估評值高,規劃景點時應注意設施的配置。 教育部普通高級中學課程綱要民國95年列入地景保育的概念,結合高一海岸地形的認知學習與地理實察技能培養,本研究以和平島公園為例設計地理實察教案,運用英格蘭地景評估系統與和平島公園地景資源特色如海崖、海蝕平台、生痕化石、潮間帶、蕈狀岩、豆腐岩、工程破壞、遊憩活動、產業發展等主題設計解說課程及教學活動,以達地景保育推廣及環境教育之成效。課程實施結果發現取樣的高中學生對於海岸地形的認知與地景欣賞、地景保育的情意表現佳,但有63%的學生對於使用GPS、傾斜儀進行調查沒有把握,需要相關課程協助改善,提升學生能力。本研究設計地景保育地理實察課程及和平島公園實察學習手冊可供地景保育及環境教育推廣之用。

Taiwanese landscape conservation activities had been operated by government since 1985. Keelung Ho-ping Island Park has excellent natural features such as sea cliffs, abrasion platforms, tofu rocks, and pedestal rocks. It is taken over by a local institution; therefore, it is nowadays not well protected. Based on the popularization of landscape conservation, the research combines with senior high school's geography teaching program to reach the goal of investigating Kee Lung Ho-ping Island Park's landscape, going on with the assessment of its character, and then making lesson plans. In the research, England Landscape Character Assessment is applied to the field investigation of the certain appointed area. Each part has its own description, and thus the system of landscape character assessment is built up. The result is that the geographical view of Ho-ping Island is valued B; it is of medium scenery. Its principal part is valued highly vulnerable; therefore, it is imperative to go on with its conservation. Besides, its vision is also estimated high- frail, so the facilities for recreational activities should be cautiously arranged when scenic spots are drawn up. The character of Ho-ping Island Park's natural resources is designed as ten subjects -- sea cliffs, abrasion platforms, differential erosion, trace fossils, tidal flats, pedestal rocks, tofu rocks, coastal vegetation distribution, damage caused by construction, and recreational facilities -- for geography courses and teaching activities so as to achieve the purpose of promoting the concept of landscape maintenance and environmental education, which was first listed in Ministry of Education's Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools in 2006. In geography teaching, the variety of topography should be taught to recognize, combining with an investigation of local geography and history, geographical knowledge of every kind should also be exercised to inspire students' affection for hometown, and develop students' appreciation of landscape character. In the research, a geography lesson plan for on-the-spot investigation is made by means of Ho-ping Island Park. An experiment of teaching is conducted, coupled with the natural resources of Ho-ping Island Park's landscape and geographical skills, to prove that the lesson plan will be feasible and practical.
