手繪三維髮型建模系統

摘要


從一般平面上繪圖到學會立體髮型建模,使用者必須跨過兩道障礙。其一是學會三維建模軟體的操作。由於現在大眾普遍使用的髮型工具多半是附屬在三維建模軟體,因此使用者必須花費大量時間學習軟體的使用。另外一道障礙則矗立在髮型建模與一般建模之間;以往的髮型建模大都是讓使用者編輯三維空間中的曲線,對人類來說不夠直覺,使得使用者在學習軟體的使用以後,仍需花費大量時間熟悉頭髮的編輯方式。 本論文提出的方法讓使用者可以在任意視角形成的平面上繪製輪廓以及髮流,經由線條組合,可以快速產生一個三維髮型,增進建模的效率;此外,簡單的介面以及貼近直覺的編輯工具更可讓已熟悉平面繪圖的使用者快速進入三維髮型的建模,大幅縮短學習的時間。

Most of the existing tools for hair modeling are functions or plug-ins of some 3D modeling software, such as 3Ds MAX and MAYA. Before hair modeling, user has to spend much time on learning the software which is complex to use. However, hair modeling usually represents curve editing, and it is very different from the traditional modeling methods. For this reason, user still has to spend much time on learning hair modeling. This thesis proposes a new method for hair modeling. User can sketch silhouettes and hair flows in some different viewing directions like drawing on papers, then, a 3D hair model will be generated according to those lines. For user-friendly interface and intuitive operations, sketch-based hair modeling system not only saves time on learning the usage of modeling software, but also improves the work efficiency.
