Through data collection, interviews, and overseas delegations, this study attempts to understand the current status of Taiwan's healthcare industry, possibilities for industry promotion, globalization strategies, and business models. Biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and medical services are globally competing industries, and can also provide an opportunity for Taiwan industries, possibly bringing about another period of economic growth. This study reviews theories on industry market development, industry competition, and competitive strategies, and combines these with analysis and case studies on healthcare policies, industry development, and market structure to provide a reference of future healthcare industry trends.
