多功能之多層微小化濾波器

摘要


濾波器及其周邊元件之整合,對於縮小化與節省成本之目的甚具意義。因此,本論文旨在利用多層結構技術,著重於整合轉接器設計之帶通濾波器,以及整合三埠單頻(或雙頻)巴倫(Balun)帶通濾波器的研製與其應用。 首先,提出新型整合轉接器設計之帶通濾波器,以電磁能量耦合的方式,實現一背板導體共平面波導至帶線的轉接器,並將此轉接器視為濾波器之一部分做設計,藉此克服內部阻抗匹配及可能的濾波器頻率響應的偏移。進一步利用所提出的轉接器,設計三個相關電路,包含了非均勻摺疊之波導空腔濾波器,以及利用同時激發雙共振模態所實現之雙頻濾波器。 再者,藉由引入適當的轉換條件,可將四埠對稱平衡式帶通濾波器轉換成三埠巴倫帶通濾波器。由於所提出的三埠巴倫帶通濾波器具有可以抑制共模雜訊的特色,因此可將其帶通頻率內的訊號平衡特性(振幅/相位)最佳化。再利用修改後的雙響應共振器,以低溫共燒陶瓷技術,實現可以控制兩個傳輸零點的集總元件式三埠巴倫帶通濾波器。接著利用混合(hybrid)結構,將位於上層之微帶線與下層共面波導共振器,應用於設計耦合共振器式雙頻三埠巴倫帶通濾波器中。藉由提供兩個耦合路徑,得以分開控制兩個頻帶,並增加濾波器設計之自由度。最後,提出一個整合被動元件而形成單一電路的巴倫雙工器,以縮小電路尺寸及增加系統效能。

Integration of bandpass filters with neighboring circuits and/or different function blocks is of practical significance for size reduction and cost savings. This dissertation mainly focuses on the development of transition-included filter and three-port single-band and dual-band balanced-to-unbalanced (balun) filters with the use of multilayer technology. In the beginning, a novel transition-included multilayer filter is proposed with the associated electromagnetically-coupled transition from conductor-backed coplanar waveguide (CBCPW) to stripline designed as a part of the bandpass filter. By using the proposed transition, three related designs concerning waveguide filters and dual-band filters are also addressed. Next, two balun bandpass filters based on the transformation from symmetric four-port balanced filters into three-port balun filters are presented. Owing to the possibility of minimizing the common-mode signal, the resulting in-band amplitude-/phase-balance performances can be optimized. The first three-port LTCC balun filter with two controllable transmission zeros is implemented by applying the modified dual-response resonators. The second dual-band balun filter with hybrid structure is realized with resonators situated on the upper microstrip plane and bottom CPW plane, respectively. By providing two coupling paths through microstrip and CPW planes, one may separately control the two passbands and also increase the freedom in filter design. In the end, a balun diplexer without additional input matching circuits is introduced. This balun diplexer has only one function block to integrate two sets of the balun bandpass filters designed for each frequency channel and the input matching circuits so that one may reduce the size and cost of a dual-band system.
