Lyric and Modern:A Study of Lin Ling’s Modern Poetry
摘要
林泠為台灣現代詩壇中獨特、且具代表性的女詩人之一。十五歲就開始發表詩作，其詩風兼具感性與理性，意象豐富多變，行詩構句展現錯落有致的節奏音響，五、六0年代即以《林泠詩集》奠定詩壇的地位。國際著名的企鵝出版公司將其作品收編於《企鵝世界女詩人選集》（The Penguin Book of Women Poets）(1978)，與古今中外著名女詩人並列；國立編譯館也將其〈不繫之舟〉一詩作為定本教材。林泠於一九五八年赴美留學後停筆近二十年之久，直至二００三年才出版第二本詩集《在植物與幽靈之間》。本論文是以林泠正式出版的兩本詩集和未收入的集外佚詩為研究範圍，深入探討研究林泠現代詩的整體風貌。 正文共分為六章:第一章為緒論，包括研究動機、範圍、方法、架構與文獻回顧。第二章藉觀察外緣因素,例如:時代環境、結盟詩社等等來探究隱藏於詩作背後的創作思維，並從中發掘那些屬於現代？現代的議題與技巧如何展現於詩作中。第三章則探討林泠現代詩中的「自我形象」，隨著時空轉變與年齡增長，「自我形象」也隨著改變，本文就是在仔細歸納與分析這詩中我的「自我形象」是如何轉變？第四章歸納出詩作中抒情主題:愛情、友情、親情與鄉情四種，並試圖描繪詩人的情感軌跡和前後變化。第五章著重分析語言與形式，歸納出節奏性、對比性、繪畫性、戲劇性和散文性五種特色。第六章是結論。希望通過本論文的研究成果，能為前行代女詩人的作品提供更豐富的研究面向。

Lin Ling is a unique and representing female poet in regards to modern Taiwanese poetry. She began to publish poetry starting from the age of 15. Her style is emotional and rational, the image is rich and variable, and the poetry prose have consistent rhythm; she established her poetry status in the 1950s and 1960s with【Lin Ling shiji(Poems of Lin Ling)】. The international renowned Penguin Books Publishing has incorporated her work in【The Penguin Book of Women Poets】(1978) with the renowned ancient and modern women poets; the National Institute for Compilation and Translation has also categorized her poem【Bu Si Zhi Jhou(Untied boat)】as textbook material. Lin Ling stopped writing for 20 years after studying in the U.S.A in 1958. Her second shiji(book of poems)【Zai zhiwu yu youling zhijian(Between plants and ghosts)】was not published until 2003. The paper applied Lin Ling’s officially published books of poems and the uncollected poems as the study scope for in-depth study on the overall style of Lin Ling’s modern poetry. The paper is divided into 6 chapters：Chapter Ι is the Introduction,which includes the study motivation, scope, methodology, structure, and literature review. Chapter Ⅱ explores the creative thinking hidden behind the poetry and discovers which ones are modern through observing the outer edge factors, such as time, environment and the alliance poetry club, and how the modern issues and skills are expressed in the poetry. ChapterⅢ explores the “Self-Image”in Lin Ling’s modern poems； along with the spatial and temporal changes and growing age, “Self-Image”also changes. The paper is to carefully summarize and analyze how my“Self-Image”changes in the poem？ChapterⅣ summarizes the lyric theme in the poetry：love, friendship, family and hometown; and attempts to describe the emotional track and the before and after changes of poets. ChapterⅤ focuses on analyzing language and style, and summarizing the four features of rhythm, contrast, drawing and drama. ChapterⅥ is the Conclusion. It is expected to provide richer study dimension for the works of the forwarded female poets through the study result of the paper.
