油水乳化液乳化穩定性及其液滴燃燒特性之研究

Investigation on the Emulsification Stability of Water-in-Oil Emulsions and the Combustion Characteristics of their Droplets

摘要


本實驗將柴油與水添加一定比例之乳化劑互相混合(柴油加入1% span80,水加入1% tween 80),通過自製之汽壓缸油水混合裝置,在出口處放置不同孔俓之過濾器,以混合出特定比例之油水乳化液。 將混合好之油水乳化液放在室溫之下存放不同天數並個別在顯微鏡下觀察其油水結合情況,然後使用Ink-Jet printing method 的方式產生微小的油水乳化液液滴落入高溫含氧的燃燒環境中,探討油水乳化液之穩定性及其液滴各種燃燒性質:點火延遲、燃燒速率、以及微爆現象。發現歷經一個月的儲存,水含量在15%以下的油水乳化液,燃燒特性較無明顯的改變。而水含量在20%以上的油水乳化液,點火延遲會有些微的縮短,燃燒時間則明顯增長。在微爆現象上,只有20%水含量以上的乳化液會在發生微爆時一次炸完。

In this study, we add emulsions to diesel and water and make them mix together (diesel with 1% span80, water with 1% tween80). We use ourselves designing air piston cylinder device and varies dimension filters to mix different percentages water-in-oil emulsions. We store the water-in-oil emulsions in room temperature for several days and investigate their integration by the microscope; then using Ink-Jet printing method to generate the droplets in the high temperature environment. Wu study the Emulsification Stability and the combustion characteristics of the droplets: ignition delay, burning rate, micro-explosion and so on. For one month storage, the combustion characteristics of the water-in-oil emulsions below 15 % water fraction are not obviously changed but those above 20% water fraction are changed, their ignition delay are a little shortened and burning time are increased. Besides, only water-in-oil emulsions above 20% water fraction can explode completely.
