In today’s challenging competition in the logistic industry in Taiwan, many logistic service providers (LSP) have chosen the low cost strategies to remain in the market. This research attempts to understand and investigate the effectiveness on an alternative strategy which is to add more values to the logistic service. This can be done by reengineering the supply chain management through the Logistic Cloud Platform. The purpose of thesis is to measure and evaluate how Logistic Cloud Platform would help electronics industry to perform more efficiently in terms of lowering transit time, shipping costs and labor costs. The frame of references is based on various sources of literature regarding Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Transformation, and data provided by Golden Eagle Express Co., LTD. This study is considered as qualitative single-case study. Data is collected from Golden Eagle Express Co., Ltd from 2013-2014. Secondary data is retrieved from the information system, research and reports, publication sources as well as internet sources. By applying the Logistic Cloud Platform, Electronics Companies can reduce their shipping transit time, shipping costs and labor costs significantly.
