多孔隙材料三維幾何重建之研究

摘要


多孔隙介質材料之孔隙分佈特性影響材料之滲透性與穩定性,但一般情形下很難觀察內部孔隙分布。隨著科技日新月異,許多方法被用來獲取材料之內部幾何組構,例如核磁共振(MRI)及X 光(X-ray)。然而這些方法均需要昂貴的儀器及龐大的資料處理程序與時間。本研究將多孔隙材料之內部顆粒簡化為單一尺寸之圓球,內部之固體與液體則選用折射率相同之透明材料以配合光學量測。本研究進行二組實驗,試體分別選用不同直徑之單一尺寸圓球。同時將此二組實驗之結果同時比較,以探討顆粒尺寸所造成之影響。雷射以軌道帶動定速移動,其光頁隨著位置改變照亮試體不同位置之橫切面,在實驗中同時以數位攝影機記錄其過程。這些紀錄於影片上之橫切面資訊,經過遮罩運算可以獲得球心之三維座標。這些球心座標資料則用來重建多孔隙介質材料之三維組構,並可進行其他三維性質之資料分析。其中,包含球心位置之空間分佈、徑向與縱向之孔隙率分佈、徑向流速資料統計及幾何穩定最小單元之統計等。

Internal imaging experiments are used to study the geometry of ideal porous media composed of mono-size spheres packed in a vertical cylinder. An optical measurement technique is adopted, whereby we scan a laser light sheet across the column composed of refractive index matched solid and liquid materials. Based on images of the laser-illuminated slices, automated algorithms are used to reconstruct the three-dimensional geometry of the irregular packings. The measurements are interpreted to evaluate the influence of the packing geometry on the permeability and stability of medium. To probe the influence of boundary confinement, we examine two different aspect ratios (ratios of cylinder diameter to sphere diameter), for which we compare radial distributions of bed porosity and liquid velocity.
