In this thesis, we discuss the image pipeline of a digital still camera (DSC). We present a flowchart of the DSC and discuss the relations of components of the flow path of the DSC. We implement a DSC in practice. We discuss some principles of the DSC. That makes us understand the DSC more. We also present an original and faster auto-focus method.
