熱聚型6,12雙取代屈分子的合成及應用

Synthesis, Properties, and Optoelectronic Applications of Novel Thermally Cross-Linkable 6,12-Disubstituted Chrysene

摘要


有機小分子和高分子發光二極體 (LEDs) 在近年是熱門的研究的主題。對於小分子發光二極體,我們已經擁有相當明確的製作元件流程:經由一層一層真空蒸鍍的方式建構多層的元件。然而,對高分子發光二極體,則大多採用旋轉塗佈的方法去製備元件,但是形成多層架構是相當具有挑戰性的, 因為旋轉塗佈所使用的溶劑會腐蝕之前已經塗佈好的薄膜。因此,我們已經合成一系列發光材料,這些材料已經綁上了可以熱聚合的乙烯苯基(VPC-1、VPC-2、VPOC-1、VPOC-2)。在加熱聚合後,可以形成非常堅固、表面光滑且可以抵抗溶劑的高分子層。甚至,發光層可以在溫和的條件裡和電洞傳導層一起熱聚合,且高分子聚合物層可以保留電化學和光化學性質同時也不會有毒種類或者不良副產品被產生。

Organic and polymer light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have been the subject of intensive investigation in recent years. For LEDs based on small molecules, it is rather straightforward to adopt multilayer strategy via layer-by-layer vacuum deposition. However, for polymer-based LEDs, where spin-coating is the basic way to form films, it is very challenging to form multilayer structures, because of solvent erosion of previously deposited layer during spin-coating. We have prepared a series of novel emissive materials which bearing thermally cross-linkable styryl groups (VPC-1, VPC-2, VPOC-1, VPOC-2). Hole transporting layer and emissive layer could be in situ cross-linked under mild thermal polymerization without any initiator. After cross-linking, the resultant films form robust, smooth, and solvent-resistant networks. At the same time, the electrical and optical properties of the cross-linked polymers are preserved and no deleterious species or undesirable byproducts are produced.
