線上版大富翁桌遊編輯器設計與應用於教育領域之探討

摘要


近年來桌上遊戲日漸普及,除了最基本的桌遊如大富翁外,來自世界各地設計者的桌上遊戲也如雨後春筍般的出現在各大平台上,包括了傳統面對面與線上可遊玩的桌上遊戲。然而桌上遊戲的設計與測試不易,往往需要花費大量的時間與人力。 本論文提出一種想法,即透過線上桌遊編輯器的方式協助桌遊的設計過程,此外桌遊設計者在過程中能隨時的進行線上測試,一旦設計完成後可以立即透過網路邀請朋友遊玩。然而桌遊種類與機制繁多,設計出一款能製作大部分桌遊的編輯器有其難度,故本論文挑選一種最經典也最為常見的桌遊種類,即為大富翁。使用者可以透過本論文中的線上版桌遊編輯器來設計出獨特且多變的大富翁類型遊戲。 遊戲式學習與數位化學習常被應用於教學領域,前者能有效提升學習動機同時兼顧教育性,達到寓教於樂的目的;後者能透過網路提供互動式的教學內容,學生可隨時隨地在線自主學習。本論文中的線上大富翁編輯器兼具了以上兩者的優點,教師能透過規則為大眾所熟知的大富翁遊戲於其中結合所要傳達的知識。學生除了能透過遊戲學習到知識外,亦能輕鬆地轉換為遊戲設計者的角色,自己動手來設計大富翁遊戲,並分享給朋友遊玩。 本論文建構了一個線上大富翁編輯器,核心設計理念為易用、高設計自由度與易分享,使用者不需要程式學習基礎也能輕易的創造出線上版的大富翁遊戲,並且其成果能被保存與分享。後續的使用者能基於之前使用者製作的遊戲進行編輯,如此一來可省去許多時間。質性訪談結果顯示使用者對於本系統整體持正面評價,能製作出高自訂性與具共享性的遊戲地圖。同時期待本系統所能製作出的遊戲可以在遊戲機制上更為豐富,另外在系統比較複雜的地方引導使用者的方式要更加完善。

In recent years, board games have become increasingly popular. In addition to the most basic board games such as Monopoly, board games from designers around the world have also sprung up on major platforms, including traditional face-to-face and online playable board games. However, the design and testing of board games is not easy, and it often takes a lot of time and manpower. This paper proposes an idea to assist the design process of board games by means of an online board game editor. In addition, board game designers can conduct online tests at any time during the process, and once the design is completed, they can immediately invite friends to play through the Internet. However, there are many types and mechanisms of board games, and it is difficult to design an editor that can make most of them. Therefore, this paper selects one of the most classic and common types of board games, which is Monopoly. Users can design unique and varied Monopoly games through the online board game editor in this paper. Game-based learning and E-learning are often used in the field of teaching. The former can effectively improve learning motivation while taking into account the educational nature to achieve the purpose of entertaining; the latter can provide interactive teaching content through the Internet, students can learn independently online at any time and place. The online Monopoly editor in this paper combines the advantages of the above two. Teachers can combine the knowledge to be conveyed through the Monopoly game, which is well known to the public by its rules. Besides learning knowledge through games, students can be easily transformed into the role of game designers, design Monopoly games by themselves, and share them with friends. This paper constructs an online Monopoly editor. The core design concepts are ease of use, high design freedom and easy sharing. Users can easily create an online version of the Monopoly game without the need for program learning. What is more, their work can be saved and shared. Subsequent users can edit based on games made by previous users, which saves a lot of time. The results of qualitative interviews show that users have positive comments on the system as a whole, and can create highly customizable and shared game maps. At the same time, users expect that the games this system can produce can be richer in game mechanics, and the way to guide users in the more complex parts of the system should be more perfect.
