摘要


我們研究的無線通訊系統發射機架構稱作極座標發射機(polar transmitter)。這個架構不同於以往傳統的正交發射機(quadrature transmitter)。正如我們所知的,任意的基頻訊號分解為振幅與相位訊號然後再個別經過封包調變器與相位調變器。調變後的振幅與相位訊號再經由開關功率放大器來做結合與放大。在本論文中,我們將專注於極座標發射機裡的封包調變器在無線行動通訊系統的應用。

The transmitter architecture with wireless communication system we investigated that is called the polar transmitter. This architecture is different from conventional quadrature transmitter. As we know, any input signal of baseband message is decomposed into magnitude and phase signal, and then goes through envelope modulator and phase modulator respectively. The modulated envelope and phase message signals are combined and amplified by switched-mode power amplifier. In this paper, we are going to focus on the envelope modulator of polar transmitter and the application of wireless mobile handset.
