Topics on the Electroweak Phase Transition in the Early Universe

摘要


我們使用複數純量場來描述宇宙電弱相變的自發對稱破缺。由場方程式我們可以描述純量場的組態。藉由討論不同的邊界條件,我們探討了可能會伴隨相變產生的區域牆,以及泡沫。我們討論的是它們和時間無關的解,即靜態解。同時,我們也討論了相變產生的遺留物成為黑暗物質,以及黑暗能量的可能性。

We use a complex scalar field to describe the Spontaneous Symmetry Breaking in the Electroweak phase transition. The configurations of this scalar field are described by the field equation. With different boundary conditions, we discuss domain walls and bubbles. Their profiles in space for the time independent case are studied. Finally, we consider some relics of the phase transition to be the dark of the universe, including dark matter and dark energy.
