利用昆蟲進行環境教育教學之研究

摘要


本研究以行動研究的方法,進行以昆蟲為主題之環境教育教學模組研發。研究過程共可分成「教學模組發展時期」、「教學模組實施時期」、「模組資料分析時期」等三個時期。共研發出四個以昆蟲主題之環境教育教學模組,計有:環境變遷教學模組-「再見螢火蟲」、生物多樣性教學模組-「多采多姿的生命」、校園環境保護教學模組-「滅飛大作戰」、環境覺知與敏感度教學模組-「小小自然觀察家」等模組。教學模組經由專家及中小學教師進行課程設計評鑑,結果皆符合昆蟲主題環境教育教學模組課程設計評鑑指標。進行試教之教學模組,在教學前後,以自編之「昆蟲主題環境教育學生學習成效問卷」對學生進行測試,以瞭解受測學生在各不同教學模組實施後,對於環境教育目標之內涵是否有所提升。將收回之問卷進行統計分析,結果顯示昆蟲模組教學確實能提升學生之環境教育內涵。學生對於模組教學有很高的喜好程度,也自認收穫很多。昆蟲確是進行環境教育時的最佳材料,所以開發相關之教學模組並提供豐富之資料,或是辦理教學觀摩及教師研習班,可提供教師資料及進修管道,讓教師之專業提升,同時也會讓學生更有興趣學習。推廣以昆蟲為主題之教學模組,在環境教育教學之中,可達到教學目標。

This research adopted the methods of action research to develop teaching modules for environmental education which focused on the use of insects as teaching materials. The progress of this research could divide into 3 stages, which are curriculum developing stage, curriculum implement stage, and final discussion stage. There are four teaching modules such as ‘Environmental changed teaching module’, ‘Biodiversity teaching module’, ’Campus environmental protection teaching module’, and ‘Environmental awareness and sensitivity teaching module’ were developed. We invited the experts and the experienced teachers to evaluate all teaching modules and which correspond with curriculum evaluation criterion on environmental education teaching module. Besides, the environmental education learning content questionnaires has been conducted before and after the implementation of learning activities in order to measure students’ performance. The results revealed that use of insect as teaching material, could improve the environmental education, and the suggestions of the design and activity from the students are positive. Insect are good materials to help the teacher to teach the environmental education. It is necessary to develop teaching module, offering plenty information, and holding teaching inspection can promote teacher’s professional performance and improve students’ interesting in learning environmental education. Extension insect as teaching materials could improve teaching and studying efficiencies on environmental education.
