摘要 要提升烘焙店的管理績效最快的方法就是導入管理資訊系統。有兩個選擇可以達成這麼目標,一個就是訂做電腦資訊系統,另一個就是買一個現成的電腦管理系統。大部分的烘焙店都無法負擔訂做的電腦管理系統,然後現成的管理系統是針對所有的買賣業設計所以功能太一般而無法適用烘焙店面。因此大多傳統烘焙店面無法享受電腦管理的成效。 本研究的目的使用現有的POS系統,外加一個自行研發的系統來做烘焙店的電腦管理系統。如此烘焙店就可以降低成本和系統開發時間。這個方法可以使現有POS系統更有彈性可以帶來以下的好處: * 縮短員工的學習曲線 * 增加收入 * 減少報廢率 * 減少成本跟損失 * 可即時計算利潤,損失,成本 * 設定營運目標 綜合以上,我們可知使用現有的POS系統,加上自行開發的系統來補強,是最有效率提升烘焙店經營績效的方法了。

ABSTRACT One of the best ways to revamp a traditional bakery is to introduce a computerized management system. There are two approaches to achieve this purpose. One is to use a purpose-built computerized management system and the other is to purchase a ready-made computer program. Most traditional bakeries are not profitable enough to afford their own purpose-built system. However, most ready-made computer programs are very general, unsuitable to the bakery industry where the operations of each store are complicated and each have their own features which can’t be handled by the off-the-shelf computer systems. Thus, almost no traditional bakeries use computerized systems to manage their daily operations. This study proposes to use the existing Point of Sales (POS) system with an added data-entry program developed by the stores themselves. In this way, a bakery can reduce the cost and time it would otherwise spend developing a computerized management system to deal with various aspects of its business. This method would also increase the scalability, flexibility, and reusability of the existing POS system, which can bring following benefits to the store: * Shorten learning curve of employees * Increase sales * Reduce unsalable rate * Reduce costs and losses * Calculate profits, losses, and costs in real time * Set operation goals Therefore, using an existing POS system with self-developed data-entry program is an efficient way to improve the business performance of a traditional bakery.
