The purpose of this research is to explore the effect of using board games in the group guidance to increase "interactive communication" and "trust dependence", reduce "competitive hostility" and "conflict dominance". Researcher designed a group guidance program of using board games, and evaluated the performance of this program. In this study, six of 5th grade students with poor peer relationship were taken as the research objects. Students received group guidance program once a week, 40 minutes each time, 10 times in total. Researcher collected datas such as pre- and post-test of " peer adaptation scale for elementary students", group observer’s record, leader’s record, students’ feedback, tutors’ feedback, group records, leader’s reflection, and interview records to evaluate the guidance effect. The results of this study was as following, First, there are significant differences in the performance of the "conflict dominance" of children with poor peer relationship, after receiving group guidance program of using board games. Second, in the process of the group guidance, "interactive communication" and "trust dependence" approximately increased, "competitive hostility" and "conflict dominance" approximately reduced. Finally, the group guidance program of using board games in this research can help children with poor peer relationship to improve the interaction between peers. Based on the above research results, researcher gives relevant suggestions to future practical workers and researchers.
