摘要


在不同技術(例如WiMAX、WLAN和蜂巢式系統)無線存取網路的整合,將透過換手技術來達成,並包含了服務行動性,即允許使用者使用它們的服務而不管它們正在使用的存取網路的服務、垂直換手、共同的認證、統一的記帳/帳單、防護機制、符合服務品質(Quality of Service- QoS)以及服務供應等挑戰。本論文提出以Host Identity Protocol (HIP)為基礎,並應用Media Independent handover (MIH)實作異質無線網路間的垂直換手機制。我們提出了一個整合架構,分別針對不同情境模擬垂直換手。本方法可以減少因為換手所造成的系統負載,以及提供網際網路使用者永遠有最好的連線品質。

In heterogeneous wireless environment, the integration of wireless access network will be accomplished by seamless handover with many challenges such as service mobility, vertical handover, common authentication, unified accounting/billing, security mechanisms, QoS and service provisioning, etc. This paper offers a HIP-based vertical handover scheme which utilities MIH in heterogeneous wireless network. We proposed a mobile integrated architecture, and did some simulations on the vertical hand over with various scenarios. The method can decrease system overhead caused by handover and provides Internet users always best connection.
