This research seeks to analyze the trade relations between Ecuador with Southeast Asia and China, in the period 2008-2014. For this effect the identified countries are analyzed independently, with emphasis on their external sector and trade relations with Ecuador. A construction of an econometric model is made to identify variables of foreign trade with each of these countries that have influenced the Ecuadorian economy in relation to its gross domestic product. Within economic policy it is possible to identify which of these variables could be the most important for promoting economic growth in Ecuador, through the results of the econometric model and the complementary analysis of the trade relations with the selected countries.
