Aviation Industry is a vulnerable industry, with low profits that comes with a high cost and furthermore, impacted by the economic fluctuation. Due to the diverse requirement of operating lines, airliners demand a variety of fleets, each fleets compatibility has a heavy influence on the operating cost. Because of the numerous factors are taken into consideration in planning a fleet, including flight management, transportation, maintenance, finance etc, and also involves an airline company's prediction of future marketing. To decide the fleets optimal purchase replacement, a complete structure and method are necessary, to clarify issues related to fleet planning, further as the basis for establishing a complete fleet planning model and procedure. Therefore, how to optimize fleet planning to reduce airline operating costs and increase revenue is a major management issue for airlines. This subject is the discussion of the repair evaluation from a maintenance perspective when airline companies introduce new fleets, to consider how to establish and apply maintenance certifications. That can be used as a reference for related industries when purchasing new fleets, in order to avoid improper planning and execution, that will cause damage to its management.
